I'm a Happy Hoper!

Yeah, I know. I'm not doing a very good job of updating. Oh, well. It just means less for you to have to read. Well, I was late to both my classes on the first day of school. Late for my lab yesterday and late for my Lit class today! Off to a bright start huh? Lol... Anyway, I am in Digital Film 1, Script Analysis, American Lit. 2, and French 1. I opted for French ( despite my immense desire to take Japanese ) because it will be easier and require less time studying. Which is good because Film 1 may kill me! I have to put in time outside of class to work on a 1 minute film by myself, a 3 minute group film, and 12 hours of work as a crew hand on one of the senior projects. Did I mention that I also have 3 other classes and a job?! OMG! I'm going to work myself to death trying to keep my grades up this semester! And for some reason, most of the senior projects are shooting out of town! Ugh. But to be really honest about it, it may be a ton of work, but I'm pulsing with excitement! I get my access codes for the lab next week! I can't wait to get to work on some real film projects! I am so excited! You guys just give me a little time and I'll blossom like a frickin' monster flower on a mission! So, maybe a lot of the other students have more experience then me, but I expected that. I came from Cross County High School and East Arkansas Community college, so, duh. Neither offered anything to me as far as my film career is concerned. But you just wait... I'm going to rock this semester!
Also... Ronnie and I are finally going to be getting our own apartment within the next 2 months! I am so happy and excited! I will finally get to settle in somewhere and feel at home. I feel kind of spread out as it is. My stuff is in boxes all over the state of Arkansas, some in Jonesboro, some in Wynne, some in Cherry Valley, and the rest here in Conway. It will be nice to be able to come home and feel like I really belong there. It will be the first time Ronnie and I have ever been completely out on our own. Alone. Just us. And Pixi and the fish and someday another puppy and a cat. But I am totally running around in my undies all day for the first day... week... month... aw heck, all the time! Lol! I'm super excited! So happy I have my Ronnie and our strange little family! I love him so much and I can't wait to spend forever with him!!!
Well, here are some pics I edited from the Bama trip and some from my boredom. Enjoy!!!

The Beatles. Love. Is all you need.

This is an old building that has been a landmark to Grandmommy's house since I can remember! If they ever tear it down, I'll never be able to find Grandmommy's road!!!

Peace out everybody!

New Year!

Okay, so I know I am behind on my posts... My laptop is still not fixed and that means I have to use Ronnie's.... 'cept he kinda likes to use his laptop too... lol. Anyway, so I had an awesome after Christmas "vacation" last weekend with my family! I always love visiting Grandmommy's house! I wish she had been feeling better while we were there, but I had a good time just being there! I got to see my niece and nephews and got to hang out with both my sisters and my brother! I haven't been able to do that in quite a while! I had to call in to work, but it was totally worth it! I keep my priorities straight folks! And work (a little crummy job to get me through college) is definitely not coming before my family! Besides, I'm a good worker and I stay out of trouble, so I think it was just fine. Anyway, I had a blast in J-town and in Bama! Kryssi taught me some stuff about my camera and we took lots of pics, as you will see on my face book. And no, I'm not done. There are still more to upload! Yeah... I'm behind.
Ronnie and I went shopping yesterday with my Rue21 gift card! I got some cute legwarmers and a new shirt and coat and a super cute hat. I'm sure that I'll take pictures of them at some point. Also, I finally got to see Disney's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" and it is totally my favorite movie right now! I love it! Nicholas Cage and that dude that played Doc Oc and that kid that did the voice in "How To Train Your Dragon" make a great combo! And to all the other film majors out there, watch it at least twice! The next time you watch it pay attention to how well the shots are framed! I love the panning and use of mirrors! It's a really well made movie! And now I totally want to read the book! Isn't there a book? I'm gonna go look that up now. I really want to go to the library today anyway. I want books!
Here's a few pics from last weekend. They're not all on Facebook yet, 'cause I'm being lazy today.
Grandmommy loves wind chimes. I caught the sun coming through these on the back porch.

Kryssi has a Chinese charm hanging on her rear view mirror.

An oriental doll at Grandmommy's.
That's all I got for now.
I'm looking forward to making some positive changes this year.
Hopefully everyone is having a great beginning to a fresh new year!
Toodles,
